The Nice magazine is back with a new issue! Following the previous successful editions from Pemba, Mozambique (2016) and Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (2018), this third Nice issue features young creatives from Katlehong, a township in the east of Johannesburg in South Africa. Contributing creatives reflect on different forms of urban street culture, media and fashion and share their thoughts on unemployment, drugs and informal economies, on heritage, identity and migration.
For the 3rd issue VCFA’s Hammer has handed over the graphic design to Nicholas Nesbitt and Givan Lötz, two South African graphic designers as well as Rahel Arnold from Zurich.
To pay for the print of this issue Nice launched a crowdfunding campaign. The magazine will ship globally.
Hammer also just uploaded the making-of video of the 2nd issue from Abidjan on YouTube.
