VCFA MFA in Graphic Design Co-Chair and faculty member Nikki Juen just accepted RISD’s highest pedagogical honor: the John R. Frazier Award for Excellence in Teaching. In presenting the award, RISD Provost Kent Kleinman noted Juen’s commitment to academic excellence, community-building and modeling engaged citizenship in creative practice.
Nikki has been teaching at RISD in their Experimental and Foundation Studies program for many years.
In other excellent news, Nikki is joining the faculty at the Feinstein School of Humanities, Arts and Education at Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island as Assistant Professor of Graphic Design. We are incredibly excited for Nikki’s latest professional chapter and are incredibly proud of her achievements.
