Happymatter is the collaborative design studio by the husband and wife team of Rafael Attias and Nicole Juen. Nikki is one of the amazing faculty at VCFA in the Graphic Design program and Raf is a VCFA MFA in Film and Video alumnus, as well as one of the school’s trustees. (In case you didn’t catch them, Raf and Nikki just launched very sparkly new websites for their personal bodies of work, as well – links are in the preceding sentence!)

The duo’s web design work is outstanding, notably the subdued online identity for the Van Beuren Charitable Foundation and the ‘little bit country/little bit rock and roll’ approach to the identity, phtography and web design for Rhode Island’s Aquidneck Farms.

Nikki and Rafael recently completed the new website design for RISD’s Interior Architecture department, as well.
