Kate Gray at AIGA Nuts + Bolts Conference!

VCFA alumnus Kate Gray (Fall 2013) recently presented at the AIGA Nuts + Bolts Conference at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. Kate presented “Graphic Designer’s Awareness Workbook”, a project that Kate developed during her VCFA graduate studies.

Kate describes the book as “a comprehensive teaching tool that provided a structured process to developing one’s self awareness”. The workbook’s exercises help students build confidence and refine their creative outlook as they prepare to transition from college to the professional workforce.

In related news, Kate recently received a promotion from Assistant to Associate Professor at Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. Congratulations, Kate!
